Hugo is about a boy named Hugo,who lives in Paris train stations in the late 1920's- early 1930's.His father died in a fire,and left Hugo on his own.Hugo has the job of keeping the station clocks running on time.Hugo meets a girl,played by Chloe Grace Moretz.Together they go on an adventure that involves a sad old toymaker that was once a great filmmaker,a station inspector with a strange leg brace,and ultimately,the importance of film preservation.
The cinematography is beautiful.Some of the shots of Paris,they just resonate with a great magical beauty.The sets,and costumes and special effects all contribute to the overall look of this movie.The performances by Asa Butterfield,Chloe Grace Moretz and Ben Kingsley are perfection.There is not a flawed moment in this film.
For anyone who likes movies,fresh ideas,beautiful cinematography,and great performances,you should definitely check out one of the best movies of the year.In other words,just watch Hugo.

The protagonist of this movie is a boy
called Hugo whose parents died a few years ago. He lived in the train station to
managed the clock and stole food to keep alive. His father’s only remains was a
robot that could write, and Hugo tried his best to fix it.
Once he tried to stole a toy from George
Milian, a boss of a toy shop, he was caught and George took his notebook
because of stealing his toys for a long time. Later he met George’s no
biological daughter, Elizabeth, who helped him to escape from the police and
figured out what did the robot wrote on the paper after fixing it. By chance
they had known that George Milian was a director but also a actor, and they
knew that George built a studio to made hundreds of films. But after the war,
all of his masterpieces were lost, so he was forgot by the people and he began
to work as the boss of a toy shop. He loved fixing things as Hugo did, and he
put the robot(the one Hugo had been fixing) into a museum to have an
exhibition, but the museum burned down, so that his last hope was destroyed.
From some point, Hugo was just like
Mr.Milian , brave ,intelligent and dare to challenge. This movie describes ruinof the dream, which would never comes again.
